In February, Cal Jones and Dan Sheehan launched CASCADE CASCADE, the first physical Magic: The Gathering magazine to exist in circulation in decades. The publication features best-in-class writing about Magic: The Gathering by people who love it, including everyone from regular fans to Pro Tour players to celebrity Magic lovers. We believe that the success of this publication has been in part because of Magic players' appreciation for the games past and for the recent surge in the popularity of physical media. This discussion delves into why it's important to write about the things you love and to celebrate the game's past, present, and future. We'll talk about the process that went into launching the magazine our love of the Magic mags of yesteryear, share some of our favorite pieces and insights, and take questions from the audience.
