Ah, Commander night at my friendly local game store! It smells like fun. And adventure. And vapes and tacos I suppose.

Guess I’ll do a lap around the room and see what other people are playing. Yikes, that deck seems complicated. I think those are treasure tokens? Looks like he has… 10, no 11 tokens. Oh wait that Cheez-it is a token too? My bad: 12 tokens. He’s really taking a while to think through his next move. I’ll come back in a bit to check in on this game.

Oh sweet; there’s a table with only 3 people.

Hi everyone! It’s nice to meet you. What kind of game are you looking for tonight?

Quiet bunch, huh? Well let me tell you about some of my favorite commander decks and y’all can help me decide which to play.

The first is a cat-themed concoction that is glorious to behold. All hits, no skips (just like Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park). It takes a few turns to get going but then makes tons of cat tokens and overwhelms opponents by going wide.

Or maybe you’d be interested in another beauty I’ve been brewing: a dragon-themed deck that is a divine mix of sweet and salty (like the first Pitch Perfect movie). It takes a few turns to get going but then makes tons of dragon tokens and overwhelms opponents by going wide.
